Tropical Depression Fabian is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Friday night, August 8, according to state weather bureau PAGASA.

In its 5:00 p.m. tropical cyclone bulletin, PAGASA reported that Fabian’s center was located 245 km west of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.

Fabian has maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h and gusts of up to 55 km/h.

The tropical depression is moving west-northwestward at 15 km/h, the state weather bureau said.

No tropical cyclone wind signals are currently in effect in any part of the country.

PAGASA forecasts that Fabian will weaken into a remnant low as it exits PAR tonight.
