The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has released a suggested price guide for school supplies for the upcoming academic year 2026–2027.
DTI said the guide aims to provide consumers with options as students prepare for the new school year.
The list includes suggested prices for notebooks, pencils, ballpens, pad paper, crayons, erasers, sharpeners, and rulers.
Based on the price guide of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), writing and composition notebooks with 80 leaves are priced between ₱13 and ₱52, while spiral notebooks range from ₱14 to ₱49. Notebooks with yarn binding are priced between ₱14 and ₱47.
Pad paper ranges from ₱13 to ₱37, while intermediate pad paper is priced between ₱22 and ₱69.
Pencils cost between ₱12 and ₱18 per piece, while packs are priced from ₱15 to ₱24. Ballpens range from ₱3 to ₱21 per piece, with packs priced between ₱18 and ₱27.
Crayons are priced at ₱12 to ₱66 for a box of eight, ₱32 for a box of 12, and ₱24 to ₱114 for a box of 24.
Erasers cost between ₱8 and ₱20 per piece, sharpeners range from ₱19 to ₱69, and rulers are priced from ₱8 to ₱12 each. — Photo from DTI
