Two to four cyclones are expected to form or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this September, according to the weather bureau PAGASA.
In its climate outlook released last week, PAGASA said these tropical cyclones may make landfall in Extreme Northern Luzon and Southern Luzon.
If these tropical cyclones materialize, the next names on the list will be: Kiko, Lannie, Mirasol, and Nando.
Currently, PAGASA is monitoring a low-pressure area (LPA) within the PAR.
In its update this morning, PAGASA reported that the LPA was last spotted 580 km east of Virac, Catanduanes, and has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression.
