Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso has announced the Manila Summer Pride Parade 2026, set for this Saturday, April 25, with assembly beginning at 4:00 PM at South Road, Ermita.

The parade route will gather through Quirino Grandstand before culminating at Remedios Circle, bringing together the LGBTQIA+ community, allies, families, barkadas, and communities across the city.

The event will feature vibrant floats, creative costumes, drag performances, and community participation, with Domagoso describing it as more than a parade — calling it “a declaration that Manila stands for dignity, equality, and safe spaces for all.”

The Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila (DTCAM) cited the LGBTQIA+ community’s long role in shaping Manila’s identity, pointing to the creative legacy of Malate and the community’s contributions to the arts, fashion, nightlife, entertainment, and everyday life of the city.

As the event organizer under the city government’s banner of inclusivity and celebration, the DTCAM said the parade reaffirms Manila’s commitment to its local anti-discrimination ordinances, which uphold the rights of residents regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression.

Mayor Domagoso also extended a personal welcome to all attendees: “Welcome po kayong lahat sa Maynila.”

Those attending are encouraged to follow the DTCAM on Facebook for route maps, event reminders, and full details ahead of Saturday’s celebration.
