The Land Bank of the Philippines will waive fees for select online government payments from June 1 to December 31, 2026, in response to rising global economic pressures, it said in a statement.
The bank said it will implement zero fees on eligible person-to-government (P2G) transactions made via QRPh as part of its support for government efforts to address rising costs.
The fee waiver covers transactions completed through three QRPh-enabled channels: (1) LANDBANK Link.BizPortal via the QRPh option; (2) QRPh standees at participating government institutions; and (3) government agency websites where LANDBANK Link.BizPortal via QRPh is selected as the payment mode.
“Eligible payments include fees to participating government institutions — such as select national government agencies (NGAs), government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), local government units (LGUs), water districts, and state universities and colleges (SUCs) — supporting faster and more convenient payments for police clearance, real property taxes, business permits, apostille certificates, and other dues,” Landbank said.
“Payment channels other than QRPh, as well as charges imposed by merchants or other service providers, if any, are not covered by the LANDBANK fee waiver and shall remain in effect,” it added.
The announcement follows Landbank’s earlier move to reduce InstaPay transfer fees from P15 to P8, effective May 21, 2026.
