TV host Mariel Padilla sparked online buzz after sharing a cartoon on her Instagram Story showing a man pointing at another man labeled as “bad,” while his “good actions” go unnoticed.
Padilla posted the cartoon on Friday, May 18. The illustration was originally shared by an Instagram page called “Fact by Google.”
The cartoon also showed that while the man pointing fingers appears to have done “good actions,” his own wrongdoings remain unseen by the public.
Padilla, the wife of Senator Robin Padilla, did not elaborate on her post. The TV host’s post came amid criticism being faced by her husband.
The senator-actor recently made headlines after he was named a person of interest by the National Bureau of Investigation in its search for Ronald dela Rosa, who is facing an arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court over his alleged involvement in former President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs.
Prior to this, Padilla also figured in a heated exchange with Francis Pangilinan during a plenary session, after which he demanded an apology from the latter for “raising his voice” at him. (Photo from Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla’s Facebook page)
