President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. extended his warm greetings to Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko” Moreno Domagoso on his 51st birthday, lauding the mayor’s dedication and hard work in public service.

In an official letter dated October 24, the President joined Domagoso’s family, friends, and colleagues in celebrating his “life and remarkable contributions” to the country.

“Your dedication and hard work have left a lasting impact and has driven us closer to the vision of a brighter Philippines,” Marcos wrote in his message.

He added that Domagoso’s commitment to governance and service continues to inspire optimism and progress in the nation’s capital.

The President’s message comes as Domagoso marks his 51st year with a day of thanksgiving activities, including a visit to the Manila Boys Town Complex in Marikina, where he is celebrating with over 500 elderly residents under the care of the city government.

In his letter, Marcos wished the Manila City Mayor “renewed strength, joy and fulfillment” in both his personal and professional journey.

He also expressed confidence that Domagoso’s leadership will continue to contribute to the country’s development under the Bagong Pilipinas governance framework.

“May the year ahead bring you continued success and good health. Know that your work is deeply valued and that your unwavering commitment to our nation is truly appreciated,” the President said.

He ended his letter with the greeting, “Happy birthday! Mabuhay ka at ang iyong paglilingkod sa bayan!”

Domagoso, who returned to City Hall in July 2025 under his “Make Manila Great Again” development program, has been praised for his focus on fiscal reform, public order, and infrastructure improvement in the capital.
